Welcome to Great Heart Farm, where family, friends and tranquility come together. We are a close-knit family that travels the world, cherishing good times together. Cooking meals for one another, catching up with long time friends, while also seeking moments of calm and peace.
Here, in our beautiful home, we invite you, as we do, to create long lasting memories with extended family and friends in a serene setting.
Join us at our farmstay for a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The name of the farm comes from one of our favorite South African bands which talks to the highway of stars, the wind in the grass, the edge of the sky, and your story like the wind.
A tranquil hideaway in the heart of Montagu designed for you, your family and friends to relax. Experience the mountain and garden views, the quiet, the calming effects and contentment in our gardens, all a short walk from Montagu town.
Our uniquely designed suites are designed so you can unwind in privacy and comfort. Each suite has its own bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and a lounge area in a conservatory with panoramic views of our olive grove, gardens and surrounding mountains. Each of the rooms have their own entrance, accessible from the garden.
The larger of our suites (Giraffe room), offers a king size bed, and open plan bathroom with a modern bathtub and shower, with an adjoining conservatory terrace with lounge, air conditioning, ceiling fans, electric blankets, bathroom amenities, hairdryer, mini fridge, coffee and tea maker, and complimentary wifi.
The other suite (Penguin), of equal elegance, private en-suite bathrooms, mini fridge, and fans.
Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breathtaking views of the countryside.
Relax in the dappled shade under our espaliered pear trees. Enjoy the sunset drinks with a view.
Support our town, and its wonderful restaurants. A close walk to 'Die Kloof Padstal', 'Blue Vines' to enjoy a tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner. Please check for seasonal opening times and reservations.
Close by is the Joubert Museum, Montagu Museum, Montagu Mountain Nature Reserve, Montagu Golf Course, and Witbosrivier Nature Reserve.
